Background
Waissel’s, Established in 1932, is a fine food importer.
They scour the globe looking for fine and gourmet foods and provide these to select boutiques around London and the United Kingdom. They came to us with a conundrum, having had a brand image and feel since the beginning an update was a terrifying prospect. The brief was to update the identity, produce the printed collateral and also rethink their online presence and website.
We created a simple yet sophisticated logotype that paid homage to the early 1900′s establishment using a classic typeface. Also by combining a beautiful selection of GF Smith Colorplan paperstocks with our personal favourite, the letterpress, we have managed to maintain the class and elegance that the brand desperately deserved and craved.
